Shelly Williams, Founder, Managing Director

Mrs Shelly Williams is a qualified Protocol and Etiquette Trainer, former director of the Barbados Tourism Authority, former Deputy Chairman of Caves of Barbados, shareholder of Williams Industries Inc. and wife of business magnate Ralph “Bizzy” Williams. She devotes much of her time to philanthropy, and educating young people.

Her life’s motto:
“I believe in turning my hobbies into viable businesses, that way it never feels like a job.”

Sofia Philips, Operations Manager

Mrs Phillips has been in the travel and aviation industry for over fifteen years. She now manages a team of twenty persons and is known to them as “our Diva” a nickname she acquired for her impeccable sense of style, and because she is always immaculately attired.

TONI MILLAR BSc, ACCOUNTANT

Ms. Millar, a perfectionist at heart joined our team in 2014. She is a graduate of The University of the West Indies at Cave Hill with a BSc Degree in Accounting. Prior to her position at Platinum Services, she was employed for 10 years at Williams Industries Inc in the Accounts Department.

“Only the best is good enough”

Dwayne Harris, Operations Controller

Mr. Dwayne Harris believes in striving for the best and never giving up. His drive for constant professional growth, has dissuaded him from taking a break since graduating from University. His philanthropic aptitude caused him to form a group with local entertainers, who donated food and household items to those islands affected by Hurricane Irma. His management of the daily operations of Platinum Chauffeur Services is evidence of his commitment to providing high quality service.

His life’s Motto:
"Be A Dreamer Of The Day": All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream in the dark recesses of the night awake in the day to find all was vanity. But the dreamers of day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, and make it possible."

Tamita Griffith, Marketing Manager

Ms. Tamita Griffith is a graduate of the University of the West Indies. She has a professional history in Marketing and Communications, of over 14 years in media, retail, telecommunications, tourism and NGOs. She has executed numerous strategic and marketing plans aimed at establishing the desired image and reputation of businesses in the minds of their target audience, public relations campaigns, event planning and corporate writing. One of her passions is humanitarian service, and this inspired to her join the YWCA 7 years ago, of which she is the current President.

“The best way to succeed, is to discover what you love and find a way to offer it to others in the form of service, working hard, and also allowing the energy of the universe to lead you.”
