Mr. Williams was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Caribbean Entrepreneur of the year in 2000 and the World Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Multiple Enterprise Creation’ in 2001. Following that global recognition, Mr. Williams was awarded the Barbados Gold Crown of Merit in 2002 for his outstanding contribution to Barbados' business and industry. For Barbados 50th Independence Celebration, Mr. Williams was awarded the Barbados Jubilee Honour for his contribution in the field of Entrepreneurship in the area of innovation. Mr. Williams is a life member of the Barbados Association of Professional Engineers, and in 2015 he received an Honorary Degree – Doctor of Science, DSC. From the University of the West Indies. Recently, Mr. Williams was made a Fellow of the Association of Professional Engineers of Barbados.

In reality, Bizzy is just a guy who enjoys pioneering new businesses that he believes will be good for Barbados and Williams Industries. He surrounds himself with very skilled people who drive the businesses to create wealth and enjoy sharing that wealth with all who help create it. He rewards results achieved, not promises made. In his own words, his greatest achievement has been the creation of the Williams Industries business model that has enabled over 400 employees to become part owners of Williams Industries Inc and over 800 to share in the profit made by the group of companies.
